Patio garden

The patio has an atmosphere that rouses the senses. The water falling down along that glass mosaic object, the lush greenery and the harmonious alignment of materials work together to turn this space into a little oasis in the urban noise.

The owners of this garden wished for a low maintenance garden which brought the outdoors and the indoors in relation with each other. And since their terrace is right next to their neighbors’ balcony, they also wanted privacy.

We chose to place horizontal wooden slats both on the terrace and on the patio walls in order to broaden the overall perspective, and ad a blank wall preventing seeing through.

By using the same element, the wooden deck that folds through the different spaces, the different areas are brought together. This connection between elements brings harmony and coherence to the design. The use of robust steel cables gives the space the power it needs to counterbalance the dominant wall of the neighbouring house.

The patio has an atmosphere that rouses the senses. The water falling down along that glass mosaic object, the lush greenery and the harmonious alignment of materials work together to turn this space into a small oasis.

Seamlessly connecting the indoor spaces with the outdoor spaces

Long lines of stainless steel kabels connecting the spaces together and enlarging the spaces visually.

At the same same time introducing a subtle refinement that makes this design appealing for the eye.
